This is for people that do not know a lot about email, but want to learn just the basics.
Loading images - Are the pictures showing up?
Any emails delivered to your SPAM/JUNK folder will have 'links' disabled and pictures will not display. This is an added safety feature. Some email programs that are used to read email also do not load pictures or graphics by default. The common OUTLOOK PROGRAM shown below does this. You can see in the first picture that it provides an option at the top of the email to 'click here to download pictures.' Otherwise you just see a box with an 'x' in it.
When you click on that line, a menu appears. Clicking on the 'Download Pictures' option will cause the program to pull the picture down from the internet.
In this case, it was a simple graphic for Fresh Jobs. By downloading the graphic, the computer at Fresh Jobs knows you opened the email. The Knights of Columbus council 7621 is also using this feature to monitor whether their newsletters and email are being read. So please make sure your pictures load.
You may be using a program or internet browser that does not download pictures by default. If you can not figure out how to do this, please use the 'Contact Us' form to ask for help.
